MTN Zone is the tariff on MTN platform that provides a dynamic tariff structure. It allows registered users to make discounted calls at different times of the day based on their location.
It gives you discount when making calls to MTN customers.
HOW TO MAKE DISCOUNTED CALLS :
Ø Activate Cell Broadcast on your phone, so that you can continuously see when low costing calls can be made.
Ø Inform the network that you have correctly configured your phone by sending code: *135*1#
Ø After doing the above once, all further calls will be at the discounted rate, indicated at the time of calling.
Charges & conditions:
Ø Registration and de-registration is free and unlimited during promotion period.
Ø To de-register from MTN Zone and return to your original price plan send *135*9#.
Ø Call charges are calculated from an all-hours base tariff, minus the discount.
